Since July 1, 2025, Müller Fresh Food Logistics has officially been known as DACHSER Netherlands Food Logistics. The name change is the next milestone in the post-merger integration of the Dutch food logistics provider, which DACHSER acquired in 2023. Blue and yellow are also gradually becoming more visible in the corporate design of Dutch food logistics, as all new vehicles are being ordered in the DACHSER design.

“By opting for a consistent but gradual integration, we are ensuring that our new employees and work processes are well integrated into the DACHSER organization,” says Alexander Tonn, COO Road Logistics at DACHSER. “Building on the strength of two family businesses and a shared customer- and quality-oriented approach, we are strengthening the solid, future-proof DACHSER organization in the Netherlands.”
As an integral part of DACHSER’s food logistics network, DACHSER Netherlands Food Logistics is further strengthening its position in the European food market.

Ready for the next phase
“We are strengthening our network and combining local expertise with international structures so that we can organize our food logistics activities in Europe even more consistently and efficiently,” says Stefan Behrendt, Managing Director DACHSER Food Logistics.
The integration is already bearing fruit in the Netherlands. In the third quarter of 2025, for example, a new logistics facility for food will open in Waddinxveen near Rotterdam, in the same industrial park where DACHSER recently opened its own Container Freight Station (CFS). This will enable the logistics service provider to support its customers even better—with global import and export via the CFS and efficient distribution of food, as well as industrial and consumer goods within Europe.
The new location offers space for around 17,000 pallet spaces, which are divided into three temperature zones: ambient, refrigerated, and frozen. The warehouse has 45 loading and unloading ramps spread across three sides of the building. This is the first time DACHSER has combined food logistics with consumer and industrial goods logistics under one roof outside Germany.

Significant growth potential through acquisition
In 2023, Müller Fresh Food Logistics became part of DACHSER. The logistics service provider, headquartered in Germany, thereby secured the leading network for food distribution in the Netherlands and opened up growth potential for Müller with European transport services. The acquisition was an important step for DACHSER in expanding its business activities in Benelux and securing high-quality distribution capacities for its German and European customers in the important Dutch food market.
