The year 2025 was marked by a weak economy and stagnant markets in Germany and Europe. Nevertheless, DACHSER held its own: Despite economic headwinds and falling air and ocean freight rates, we increased our total revenue to a record 8.3 billion euros—a growth of 3.1 percent. The DACHSER business model, based on integration, quality, and innovation, has once again proven to be extremely resilient and crisis-proof. Thoughts from CEO Burkhard Eling.

Quick Read

In addition to the effects of our recent acquisitions, we achieved organic growth and gained market share in our Road Logistics business field. Here, we were once again able to grow significantly faster than the European economic environment in 2025, which grew by only about 1.5 percent.

We are continuing our growth trajectory, particularly in Food Logistics, and have reached a new European level. To illustrate our development in this business line: With DACHSER Food Logistics, we only surpassed the 1-billion-euro revenue mark in fiscal year 2021. Since then, we have nearly doubled our revenue.

In the DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics (ASL) business field, revenue was impacted by declining freight rates. We are familiar with this market volatility in the ASL business and know how to handle it professionally.

We are continuing our growth trajectory, particularly in Food Logistics, and have reached a new European level.

Stay the course

Even under challenging conditions, we are staying the strategic course and continuing to invest in our network, our digital innovation capabilities, climate protection, and, of course, our employees. To this end, we plan to spend over 350 million euros again in 2026.

As these highlights show: Our mission to become the world’s most integrated logistics provider remains as important as ever—quite the contrary: We remain on course—reliably and consistently.
