Quick Read

The route between Vienna and Istanbul operates as a regular, weekly service in both directions and is integrated into DACHSER’s European land transport network. Shipments are consolidated, centrally managed, and integrated into a unified system landscape. This ensures standardized, transparent, and predictable processing throughout the entire supply chain.

Standardized processes for transport between Europe and Turkey

Michael Rauhofer, Managing Director of DACHSER Austria, explains: “With the Vienna Hub, we are establishing a structured connection between Austria and Turkey that enables our customers to rely on predictable and reliable processes.” “The combination of regular scheduled services, integrated customs clearance, and clear points of contact helps reduce complexity and streamline international shipments.”

Access to international markets via Vienna

By consolidating traffic at the Vienna Hub, additional connections are created to international transport corridors between Europe and Turkey. Weekly scheduled services connect key economic regions and provide reliable import and export solutions.

The new connection is part of a broader strategy to further develop international transport solutions and strengthen market access for both Turkey and the Maghreb. Gateways for shipment consolidation—such as those in Strasbourg, France, or Ungerhausen in southern Germany—play a key role in harnessing the potential of economic regions and organizing efficient flows of goods. A new route from Cadiz, Spain, to North Africa has also recently been added.
